This service includes the provision of a combination of facilities support services inside a customer’s buildings and facilities.
These services include general interior cleaning, maintenance, waste disposal, guard and security services, handling of internal mail, reception services, laundry services, and associated support services for activities performed inside of buildings and facilities.
These services are rendered by external staff not in any way linked to the customer’s core business or core activities, and for which the customer is not liable.
This service does not include:
- Provision of individual services (e.g. interior cleaning only), or the exercise of individual functions (e.g. heating only) (refer to the corresponding Class of the service rendered)
- Provision of management or operating staff for a customer’s entire operation, e.g. hotels, restaurants, mines, or hospitals (refer to the Class of the trade or business)
- Administration and operation of a customer’s computer systems and/or data processing system on location (see 62.03.0)
- Operation of correctional facilities on commission (see 84.23.0)
