Cross-check experts; application for approval
Private experts need to be licensed for the examination of officially left samples.
Description
During official sampling in the sense of § 43 of the German Food and Feed Code (LFGB) (as well as of tobacco and tobacco products), additional duplicate samples are taken for possible follow-up examinations, which are left behind at the plant. Only approved experts are authorised to examine these duplicate samples.
