Description

In the field of social insurance, the Higher Insurance Offices are supervisory authorities over the state-unaffiliated public corporations as well as over the working groups under the supervision of the Free State of Bavaria, especially in the following matters:

  • Establishment, expansion and extension of company and guild health insurance funds as well as the nursing care funds established with these health insurance funds,
  • Unification of local, company and guild health insurance funds as well as the nursing care insurance funds established with these health insurance funds,
  • Statutes of local, company and guild health insurance funds as well as of the nursing care insurance funds established with these health insurance funds, of the health insurance fund associations according to § 218 SGB V and of the health insurance fund associations which were formed according to § 406 of the Reichsversicherungsordnung (RVO) until December 31, 1988,
  • Withdrawal of a company from the joint company health and nursing insurance fund and withdrawal of a craft guild from the joint guild health and nursing insurance fund.
  • Adjustment of the circle of members of guild health insurance funds and nursing care funds, if the circle of guild members of a sponsoring guild changes due to changes in the craft law,
  • dissolution of company and guild health insurance funds and of the nursing care funds established with these health insurance funds,
  • Closure of company and guild health insurance funds and of the nursing care insurance funds set up with these health insurance funds.

The necessary permits can be applied for at the competent higher insurance office.
