Plant protection equipment; application for recognition as inspection body
The Offices for Food, Agriculture and Forestry (ÄELF) with additional tasks in the field of plant cultivation check with the applicant whether all requirements necessary to be able to inspect plant protection equipment are fulfilled. If all the requirements for recognition are met, they grant recognition as an inspection body for plant protection equipment.
All plant protection equipment in use for area or space crops must be inspected at intervals of six calendar half-years.
The inspection of plant protection equipment is carried out by officially recognised inspection bodies. The activity as inspection body is mostly carried out by agricultural machinery workshops.
