Description

Free balloons may only be launched outside the balloon launch sites approved for them if permission has been granted by the responsible aviation authority.

Furthermore, the owner of the land or other person entitled to it must have consented to the launch.

Permission for an external landing with a free balloon, on the other hand, is not required, since the place of landing of a free balloon cannot be determined in advance due to its characteristics.

Prerequisites

The outdoor launch site must be suitable for the project. This must be proven by an expert opinion.
