Mining; reporting on employees and operational processes
Companies that are under mining supervision must submit reports on employees and operational processes to the responsible mining office.
Description
Establishments that are under mining supervision as well as extraction operations, visitor mines and visitor caves, must provide the responsible mining office with current data for statistical purposes.
If employees are exposed to silicogenic dusts, they must report this to the supervisory authority (mining office).
The re-entry of accident victims must also be reported to the responsible mining office.
Procedure
Data for statistical purposes must be submitted using the forms under "Forms".
Deadlines
The various deadlines can be found in § 9 of the Mining Ordinance on Surveying and Safety Documents (Unterlagen-Bergverordnung - UnterlagenBergV) (see under "Legal basis").
Mining operations where employees are exposed to silicogenic dusts must report this to the supervisory authority (mining office) by January 31.
Re-arrivals of accident victims must also be reported by January 31.
