The designation "Veterinary Clinic" may only be used with the approval of the Bavarian State Veterinary Chamber.
Description
A veterinary clinic is a practice that is under the management of a veterinarian in private practice and that additionally serves the inpatient examination, treatment and accommodation of animals. It extends the diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities of the veterinary practice.
The designation "Veterinary Clinic" may only be used with the approval of the Bavarian State Veterinary Chamber. It is granted upon application and after review, if the applying veterinarian proves that the staff, premises and equipment of his/her clinic meet the minimum requirements set by these guidelines.
The application shall be submitted to the county veterinary association in whose area the veterinary clinic is to be located. The application shall be accompanied by plan documents drawn to scale.
