Broadcasting fee; registration of companies and institutions
If you have a business premises or motor vehicles used for business purposes, you must pay a broadcasting fee for this and report this to the responsible authority. New business premises must also be registered.
You are the owner of a business premises or have motor vehicles that are subject to the contribution.
No broadcasting fee is payable for business premises that do not provide a workplace. Registration is therefore not required.
You register your business premises with the responsible office in writing or online without being asked.
The competent authority will set the licence fee and send you an assessment notice.
The competent authority must be notified immediately of the possession of a business premises or a motor vehicle subject to contributions (registration). This also applies to any change of data.

This form has to be signed and sent to the responsible authority. You can sign the form manually and send it by email/fax or sign the form electronically with your qualified electronic signature an send it by (secure) email. If the responsible authority has set up a De-Mail account, you can also send the form by De-Mail using an sender-confirmed message.
There are no costs for registration.
You must pay the broadcasting fee determined on the basis of the registration. This is based on the number of business premises, employees, hotel and guest rooms, vacation homes and motor vehicles. For non-profit organizations, the broadcasting fee is limited to one third of the fee - EUR 6.12 per month - for each business establishment subject to the fee.
