The hospital must fall within the scope of the Hospital Remuneration Act and/or the Federal Nursing Rate Ordinance.

Deadlines

Applications for the scope of application of the Hospital Remuneration Act should be submitted quickly after approval of the prime rate applicable nationwide. For the scope of application of the Federal Hospital Rate Ordinance (Bundespflegesatzverordnung), it should generally be made before the start of the new nursing rate period.

The charges or nursing rates may only be levied from the first of the month following approval.
