Offers for support in everyday life; application for a grant
Offers of support in everyday life in accordance with Section 45a of the German Social Code (SGB XI) are intended to provide hourly relief for people in need of care and their family caregivers. The Free State of Bavaria supports these services together with the umbrella organization of the long-term care insurance funds. Sponsors of recognized offers of support in everyday life can receive a grant within the framework of project funding.
Description
Purpose
By offering support in everyday life, an additional range of services is to be created for those in need of care in home care from care level 1. Up to 125 euros per month can be used as a uniform relief amount for quality-assured care and relief services. The aim is to relieve the person in need of care in their everyday life as well as caregiving relatives and similarly close persons of the care and the associated physical and emotional burdens.
The purpose of the funding is to promote the establishment and expansion of offers for support in everyday life, thereby creating an additional range of services. In particular, this is intended to create appropriate care and relief services as well as participation opportunities and opportunities to relieve the burden on care-giving relatives and those similarly close to them.
Recipients of funding
Eligible applicants are providers of recognized everyday support services.
Eligible costs
Funding is primarily provided for personnel and material costs arising from the coordination and organization of the assistance and the professional guidance, training and advanced training as well as the continuous professional supervision and support by specialists, as well as expense allowances for voluntary care.
Type and amount
The funding is provided in the form of a fixed sum within the framework of project funding. The funding is provided at flat rates depending on the services offered, as specified in more detail in the notes on the implementation of the AVSG Part 8 Sections 5 to 8.
Support services for everyday life are funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care together with the National Association of Long-Term Care Insurance Funds.
Prerequisites
The individual requirements for the recognition and promotion of offers of support in everyday life are regulated in sections 5 and 6 of the Ordinance on the Implementation of the Social Laws (AVSG) and the Notes on the Implementation of the AVSG Part 8 Sections 5 to 8.
Depending on the type of offer, the fulfillment of respective qualification and quality criteria must be proven.
Procedure
The application for funding must be submitted in writing to the Bavarian State Office for Nursing Care. The forms provided are to be used.
Special notes
Funding is provided without legal entitlement within the limits of the available budget.
Deadlines
Applications must be submitted by December 31 of the year preceding the funding year.
