The European Territorial Cooperation (ETC) is an objective within the framework of EU structural funding, which is financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). Through the program "Free State of Bavaria - Czech Republic (Objective ETC 2014-2020)" cross-border cooperation in the Bavarian-Czech border area is promoted.
With the LEADER programme, the Bavarian State Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Forestry supports rural regions on their way to self-determined development according to the motto "Citizens shape their homeland". LEADER is a proven instrument for the promotion of innovative ideas and projects that contribute significantly to the development and strengthening of rural areas.
In the less-favored areas, farmers receive a compensatory allowance for income disadvantages due to natural unfavorable site conditions or other specific production disadvantages. The payments are intended to contribute to the continuation of agriculture in these areas and to the preservation of the landscape as well as to promote sustainable farming methods.
"Interreg VI B Danube Region" is a funding program of the EU to strengthen the transnational cooperation of the countries in the Danube region. Funding is provided for joint projects of transnational partners in selected thematic areas.
"Interreg VI B Central Europe" is an EU funding program to strengthen transnational cooperation between the countries of Central Europe. Joint projects of transnational partners in selected thematic fields are funded.
"Interreg VI B Northwest Europe" is an EU funding program to strengthen transnational cooperation between the countries of Northwest Europe. Funding is provided for joint projects between transnational partners in selected thematic areas.
