Successful integration is a key success factor for social cohesion and peaceful coexistence in Bavaria. In addition to the German language and integration into education and work, the imparting of values is an essential factor in integration, which is why the Free State of Bavaria promotes the implementation of a wide range of offers in this area.
Purpose
The purpose of the funding is to bring immigrants closer to our values and culture and to make them understand them so that they can better find their way in everyday life and in our society. The imparting of values includes the basics of our legal and value system such as the understanding of democracy, equality and tolerance, the strengthening of the acceptance of these basic values and rules as well as the imparting of knowledge about our culture. Intercultural and interreligious encounters and exchanges are intended to strengthen mutual understanding and social coexistence. At the same time, the aim of this support is to provide new immigrants with practical assistance to make it easier for them to settle into society and to demonstrate opportunities for social participation.
