Successful integration is a key success factor for social cohesion and peaceful coexistence in Bavaria. In addition to the German language and integration into training and work, the teaching of values is a key factor in integration, which is why the Free State of Bavaria promotes the implementation of a wide range of programs in this area.
Purpose
The purpose of the funding is to bring immigrants closer to our values and culture and to make them understand them so that they can find their way better in everyday life and in our society. The teaching of values includes the fundamentals of our legal and value system such as understanding democracy, equal rights and tolerance, strengthening the acceptance of these fundamental values and rules and imparting knowledge about our culture. Intercultural and interreligious encounters and exchanges are intended to strengthen mutual understanding and social coexistence. At the same time, the aim of the funding is to make it easier for new immigrants to settle into society with practical help and to show them opportunities to participate in society.

Funding is provided for the project-related implementation of value education programs. This includes courses, workshops, exchange meetings and further training. The offers should include both knowledge transfer and practical forms of participation.
