Within the framework of the concept, the entire school family works together across subjects and with qualified external partners. In terms of content, the "Everyday Skills - School for Life" encompass the entire area of everyday skills and life economy with the fields of action health, nutrition, household management, self-determined consumer behavior, environmental behavior and digital acting.
Purpose
Funding is provided for measures to implement the "Everyday Skills - School for Life" concept for students at municipal schools and private alternative schools as part of project weeks, particularly in conjunction with specialist presentations and excursions.
Object
Eligible for funding is the implementation of project weeks in accordance with the concept "Everyday Skills - School for Life" at elementary schools, middle schools, junior high schools, high schools, special schools, business schools and schools of a special kind in the form of one project week each in the course of grades 1 to 4 and grades 5 to 9.
Recipients of funding
The recipients of the grants are the sponsors of municipal schools and the sponsors of state-approved and recognized alternative schools in Bavaria.
Eligible costs
Eligible costs for the implementation of the project weeks or project modules are:
- Fees for external partners and experts
- Travel costs for students to extracurricular places of learning in the context of classroom visits and excursions
- Material costs (materials, food, etc.)
Type and amount
The funding is provided as a non-repayable one-time grant or allocation (project funding) in the form of fixed-amount financing. The maximum amount of funding for an individual school per school year is calculated by multiplying the number of classes in grades 1 to 9 by 100 euros. This amount is available in total for projects of all classes in a selected grade in which the project week takes place.
