Handicraft; application for the issuance of an honorary certificate
The Chamber of Skilled Crafts recognizes the achievements of skilled craftsmen in its district by issuing certificates for specific occasions and awarding honors. The certificates are issued upon application.
Description
Self-employed craftsmen, guilds and district chambers of crafts can apply to their responsible chamber of crafts for a certificate of honor on the occasion of outstanding company anniversaries.
For employees in craft enterprises, honorary certificates can be applied for by the employer from a certain, uninterrupted length of service with the responsible Chamber of Crafts.
After at least 10 years of uninterrupted, honorary activity as a member of a craft organization and as a member of an examination or other committee of a craft organization, an honorary certificate can be applied for from the responsible Chamber of Crafts or awarded by the responsible Chamber of Crafts.
Self-employed and non-self-employed craftsmen, and in exceptional cases also non-tradesmen, may be awarded various honors.
Prerequisites
The Chambers of Skilled Crafts and Small Businesses have guidelines on the awarding of honorary certificates and awards, which are usually decided by the Board of Directors. Therefore, the examination of the requirements for an honor or award, its processing and the administration of the data also takes place there.
