Description

In Bavaria, the professional title "Stadtplaner" or "Stadtplanerin" may only be used by those who are registered under this title in the list of city planners at the Bavarian Chamber of Architects.

The joint registration committee at the Bavarian Chamber of Architects examines and decides on the registration in the list of city planners.

Prerequisites

  • Successful completion of an undergraduate degree, a postgraduate degree, or other equivalent training, each of which qualifies the student for design, technical, economic, environmental, and social urban and regional planning, as well as the preparation of urban development plans.
  • Subsequent two years of professional practice
