In order to practice the profession of "State-certified food chemist", nationals of a member state of the European Union and of a third country require recognition of the training acquired abroad. The Government of Upper Bavaria is responsible for the recognition procedure throughout Bavaria.

  in certified copy and translation by a translator publicly appointed and sworn in the Federal Republic of Germany

• Evidence of formal qualifications (diploma, certificate, evidence of completion of studies, other evidence of formal qualifications) and professional experience

  in certified copy and translation by a translator publicly appointed and sworn in the Federal Republic of Germany
