Family care; application for funding

Family care helps to support families in special emergency and crisis situations and to avoid the out-of-home placement of children. The sponsors of family care stations can receive a grant within the framework of project funding.

Description

Purpose

The purpose of the funding is to facilitate the continuation of family care stations and to ensure a nationwide supply of qualified professionals, including through binding forms of cooperation.

Object

The object of the subsidy is the expenses of the family care stations for family care. The qualified specialist takes over the care and upbringing of the children as well as the care of the household.

Beneficiaries

Recipients of funding are associations of independent welfare organizations and their affiliated organizations, non-profit foundations as well as private providers, provided that they are responsible for family care stations and employ qualified personnel there.

Personnel and material expenses of the family care station.

Type and amount

The state grant is awarded as a fixed-amount financing within the framework of project funding. The possible funding lump sum is based on the eligible specialist employed in the family care station. The lump sum for a full-time specialist employed according to need amounts to up to 7,800.00 euros per year.

Prerequisites

The individual requirements for the funding of a family care station are regulated in section I. 1. of the guideline for funding in the "Bavarian Care Network".
In particular, the specialist must have completed training as a state-recognized family nurse or state-recognized village helper, as a social pedagogue, as a nursing specialist in accordance with the Nursing Professions Act, further training as a specialist for family-supporting household management or a comparable qualification.
