Membership of the Bayerische Architektenversorgung; transmission of information

Bayerische Architektenversorgung grants pension benefits in old age, in the event of occupational disability and to surviving dependants. For this, it requires certain information from the new member.

Prerequisites

  • Compulsory or junior membership of one of the chambers of architects in Bavaria, Lower Saxony or Rhineland-Palatinate
  • No occupational disability

Procedure

After registration in the list of architects or urban planners or junior list, the membership data is transmitted by the professional chamber to the BArchV.

At the beginning of membership in the BArchV, the new member must complete the survey form and send it to the BArchV. The completed survey form (see under "Forms") can be sent by post or electronically (see under "Online procedure").
The survey form is required for further information relevant to membership, such as the amount of income subject to contributions, possible participation in the SEPA direct debit procedure, affiliation to another pension fund in the profession.

The member then receives a membership notification from the BArchV by post.

    Data is transmitted in accordance with Art. 20 Para. 2 Sentence 1 of the Building Chamber Act (BauKaG), Art. 9 of the State Treaty between the Free State of Bavaria and the State of Lower Saxony on the affiliation of freelance (self-employed) and civil servant architects in the State of Lower Saxony to the Bavarian Architects' Pension Scheme, Art. 9 of the State Treaty between the Free State of Bavaria and the State of Rhineland-Palatinate on the affiliation of architects in the State of Rhineland-Palatinate to the Bavarian Architects' Pension Scheme.
