Mining; notification of the appointment of a responsible person
A supervisor (responsible person) can be appointed in accordance with §§ 58 ff of the Federal Mining Act to fulfill the duties arising from mining regulations and to manage and supervise the operation.
Description
The overall responsibility for safety and order in an operation subject to mining law lies first of all with the mine operator, represented by the company's board of directors or, in the case of legal entities and trading partnerships, the persons authorized to represent the company by law, the articles of association or the partnership agreement.
The responsibility for the management and supervision of individual parts of the company can be delegated to other supervisors (responsible persons). The application for naming the person responsible (appointment) must be made in writing.
The duties and powers must be precisely described in the appointment; the powers must correspond to the duties. It must be ensured by internal regulations that the responsible persons can fulfill their tasks and exercise their powers.

You must notify the competent authority of the appointment of a responsible person.
