Wine transports; request for issuance of accompanying documents.
If you are transporting more than 60 liters of an unbottled wine product, you must have a wine accompanying document for each shipment.
Description
You need a wine accompanying document for the transport of wine products that have not been bottled.
Wine products are
- Grapes,
- grape must,
- mash,
- wine,
- sparkling wine,
- sparkling wine,
- liqueur wine and
- fortified wine.
The accompanying document entitles you to transport the wine products from the producer to the further processing or utilization point, for example to a winery. You are obliged to use an accompanying document.
Prerequisites
You need a wine accompanying document in the following cases:
- You are transporting bulk wine products of more than 60 liters.
- You are transporting wine products in labeled containers of more than 10 liters that are fitted with a non-reusable closure.
- The transport distance of wine products is more than 70 kilometers
- from the vineyard to the wine-making plant,
- between two plants of the same company,
- between the plants of a producer association.
Procedure
Accompanying documents can be issued in paper form or electronically from 14.12.2022.
You can obtain the five-fold accompanying document carbon copy from the competent district administrative authority.
