Restaurant business; notification of continuation after the death of the occupant
After the death of a trader, a privileged group of persons may continue the restaurant business. This must be notified to the competent authority
After the death of the permit holder, the restaurant business may be continued on the basis of the previous permit by the spouse, civil partner or the minor heir during the period of minority. The same applies to administrators of estates, guardians of estates or executors of wills for a period of ten years after the death.
The person who wants to continue the restaurant business must have the required reliability.
The continuation must be notified in writing to the relevant licensing authority.
The notification must be made immediately.
The permit expires if the business has not been operated for one year.
