The Bavarian state government has set a forward-looking, structural course for the Bavarian civil service. With its responsibility for public service law and as a negotiating partner of the trade unions for the labor and employment relationships of more than 365,000 employees at the Free State of Bavaria, the Ministry of Finance assumes the central employer role within the Free State of Bavaria. The modern design and further development of the civil service and collective bargaining law form the basis for a future-oriented and competitive personnel policy. The goal is to make the public service fit for the tasks of the future.
