Falconry examination; registration
The falconry examination is an oral examination in which practical tasks relating to the keeping of birds of prey and the practice of falconry can also be set.
The requirements for taking the falconry examination in Bavaria are governed by the ordinance on the hunter and falconry examination (Jäger- und Falknerprüfungsordnung - JFPO). Applicants must be at least 15 years old, have demonstrably completed theoretical and practical training and have passed the hunter examination or the limited hunter examination.
Registration for the falconry examination must be made no later than 4 weeks before the written examination date.

This form has to be signed and sent to the responsible authority. You can sign the form manually and send it by email/fax or sign the form electronically with your qualified electronic signature an send it by (secure) email. If the responsible authority has set up a De-Mail account, you can also send the form by De-Mail using an sender-confirmed message.
- The fee for the limited hunting test is € 190, the fee for the falconry test is € 185.
