Motor vehicle license plates; application for replacement in case of theft, loss or illegibility
If you have lost a license plate of your vehicle, it was stolen from you or it is illegible, you must apply for the assignment of a new license plate.
Description
If you have lost one or both of your vehicle's license plates, they have been stolen, or they are no longer legible, a new license plate must be assigned. The stolen or lost license plate will not be issued again for at least 10 years and will be marked with a search notice.
