Description

A prerequisite for the issuance of a permit or a certificate of competence according to the Explosives Act is, among other things, the successful participation in a technical course. For participation in this specialist course, the course provider requires a clearance certificate from you as proof of your reliability and personal suitability. This will be issued to you by the authority responsible for issuing the permit or certificate of competence.

Competent authorities:

• The district administrative authorities:
  In the private sector for the acquisition and handling of propellant powder for firecracker shooting, muzzle-loading shooting and loading and reloading cartridge cases.
• The trade supervisory authorities at the governments:
  In the commercial sector, e.g. for the performance of blasting work or the setting off of fireworks.
• The mining authorities:
  In the case of companies that carry out corresponding activities that are subject to mining supervision.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age: 21 years
• Reliability and personal suitability

Procedure

Submit the application for the explosives clearance certificate to the competent authority. The competent authority issues the clearance certificate after checking the explosives law requirements.
