Description
The BayernPortal is the general administration portal of the Free State of Bavaria for citizens, entrepreneurs and administrations. Here, the services of state and local authorities (e.g., state offices, governments, districts, district offices, city and municipal administrations, state agencies, chambers) are described and contact data including opening hours and contact persons (if maintained by the authority) are displayed.
If you search for a service (e.g., apply for a passport, apply for a certificate of good conduct, register a trade), select the service from the hit list and then enter your location (e.g., place of residence, place of birth, place of education, location of the company or authority), locally valid information (e.g., the authority responsible for you or the authority's online procedure) is displayed. Depending on the service, you can also find out about the requirements, necessary documents, deadlines, costs and legal basis.
In the case of cities and municipalities, for example, you will find an overview of the districts, the responsible police stations, the most important authorities and institutions responsible for the municipal area, the special-purpose associations of which they are members, and a link to the schools in the locality, among other things, on the authority page in the BayernPortal. If you are looking for an authority page, enter the name of the authority via the search and then select the corresponding page.
The BayernPortal points you in the right direction so you can find information quickly and easily.
The information (addresses, organizational units, contact persons, telephone numbers, forms, local laws, etc.) displayed on the BayernPortal is maintained by the local and state authorities via the editorial system for administrative information in Bavaria . The accesses are managed by the central editorial office at the Bavarian State Ministry for Digital Affairs. If you have any questions, please send an e-mail to bayernportal@stmd.bayern.de.
