Space observation; implementation
The state planning authorities continuously record, evaluate and monitor spatially significant facts and developments.
Description
Good planning depends on reliable information. It is therefore important to continuously record, utilize and monitor spatially significant facts and developments.
Spatial monitoring provides up-to-date information on the location and living conditions or spatially significant developments in Bavaria in the form of data, graphics and maps as well as explanatory texts. It uses data from official statistics as well as geodata (geobasis and geospecialized data).
The Bavarian Spatial Information System (RISBY), a geographic information system, is the specialized information system for state and regional planning in Bavaria. The content includes the spatial planning cadastre (only within authorities), regional plan and state development program as well as various maps and aerial photographs of the Bavarian surveying administration.
The information is published in the "Spatial Planning Report" and in the "Spatial Monitoring Data" (see "Related Links").
