Register of Craftsmen; request for deletion of data
If the requirements for registration in the register of skilled crafts are not met, you must apply for deletion of the data from the register of skilled crafts.
Description
The entry in the register of skilled crafts will be deleted upon application if the prerequisites for the entry are not met. The tradesperson entered in the register of skilled crafts is authorized to file an application. If the business is not operated as a craft, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce can also apply for the deletion of the entry. Likewise, the deletion of the registration can also be carried out ex officio.
If an application is submitted, the prerequisites are checked and then the entry is deleted from the register of craftsmen. Cancellation must take place if the prerequisites for registration are not or are no longer fulfilled. If the entry in the register of skilled crafts is deleted, the skilled crafts card must be returned to the Chamber of Skilled Crafts.

For a commercial enterprise that is registered in the register of craftsmen, the requirements for registration are not or no longer fulfilled.
Procedure
You can apply for cancellation informally at the responsible Chamber of Crafts.
You must then return the craftsman's card.
Deadlines
Cancellation must take place if the requirements for registration are not or are no longer met.
Fees
- The costs are based on the fee schedule of the responsible Chamber of Crafts.
Remedy
The decision of the Board (notification / cancellation decision) is subject to administrative appeal pursuant to Section 40 (1) sentence 1 of the Administrative Court Code.
