Health care profession; application for a certificate of no objection to start work abroad
If you want to work abroad in a non-academic health profession, you will usually need a "certificate of good standing".
Description
The "Certificate of Good Standing" (Unbedenklichkeitsbescheinigung) is proof of authorization to practice the health profession without restriction in the area of the Federal Republic of Germany. The Certificate of Good Standing also confirms that no professional or disciplinary measures have been taken or initiated.
You will need this certificate if you wish to practice your non-academic health profession abroad.
The government in whose jurisdiction you are currently practicing or last practiced your profession is responsible for issuing the "Certificate of Good Standing".
The certificate is generally issued in German.
Prerequisites
You would like to practice a non-academic medical profession abroad (e.g. healthcare and nursing assistant, midwife/delivery nurse).
