On behalf of the Bavarian State Ministry of Health and Care, the Care and Housing Coordination Office offers a comprehensive range of information, advice and services on the subject of care and housing.
The objective of the state-wide Care and Housing Coordination Office is to enable as many older people in need of care as possible to remain living in their home environment for as long as possible while maintaining a high quality of life, or to create a new home through alternative and innovative housing projects. With a successful mix of professional care, promotion of voluntary structures and successful use of technology, all related stakeholders in the social local area are to be informed about current developments and findings and individually advised.
Main topics are:
- outpatient assisted living communities
- day care
- Innovative forms of living and care
- Care conferences
In addition to advising the players involved in outpatient assisted living communities, the Care and Living Coordination Office also addresses other players and initiators, e.g. of day care facilities and innovative forms of living and care. These are, in particular, welfare associations, outpatient services, counseling centers, but also companies in the private sector that design apartments and living environments and, last but not least, private individuals.
With the offer of outreach counseling, the coordination office offers, as a further focus, advice and support to municipalities in the development of small-scale and close-to-home care solutions throughout Bavaria. In addition, it provides information on possible financing and funding opportunities and, if required, assists with the application process.
Interested municipalities can also turn to the Care and Housing Coordination Office for questions regarding the establishment of care conferences in accordance with Section 8a (3) of the German Social Code, Book XI, and network funding in accordance with Section 45c (9) of the German Social Code, Book XI.
